Frances Miranda , MS, MBA, CCC-A
A medical professional specializing in hearing healthcare services to the music community, including performing artists, sound engineers and crewmembers, Frances is also herself a musician. Often referred to as the “Rock Star Audiologist,” she has worked with many of today’s top artists and up-and-coming musicians and is well respected in the industry for the specialized and personal services she provides to her clients.
An active member in the music community educating young musicians about the effects of noise-induced hearing loss, Frances actively participates with MusiCares Los Angeles in providing support and services to professional musicians. She also maintains a clinical and hearing aid practice in Beverly Hills.
Frances has been an audiologist for over 10 years. Prior to establishing her practice, Frances spent six years as a clinical audiologist at the University of California at Los Angeles and Kaiser Permanente. Her areas of expertise included hearing conservation, hearing rehabilitation and pediatrics. She has diagnosed and fit hearing aids on newborns and participated in a multi-year clinical study examining the outcome of early intervention in hearing impaired infants. Frances has also lectured at California State University Northridge where she taught courses in auditory rehabilitation.
In 2008, Frances launched RockStarEars.com, an online website offering hearing conservation information and resources and custom in-ear monitor and specialty earmold products.
Frances received her MBA from Pepperdine University and earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from California State University Northridge.
